It’s been a minute, but I still don’t know what to put on an About page. Professionally, I’ve done some things in messaging, security, identity, privacy, policy, and law for places you’ve probably heard of. As the years have gone by, what started as a career break seems to be now unambiguously retirement.

I’m ambivalent on the Oxford Comma, but I hate the Grocer’s Apostrophe.

I try and share my perspective judiciously and pseudonymously online, more recently on an infosec-themed Iceshrimp server, a Mastodon server, and (not very much) on general-themed Iceshrimp server for grins.

I’ve also been trying out Pixelfed, but my intention to take more pictures hasn’t really borne fruit yet. I never really seem to remember to do so, despite having my phone on me at all times.
