It’s been a minute, but I still don’t know what to put on an About page. Professionally, I’ve done some things in messaging, security, identity, privacy, policy, and law for places you’ve probably heard of. As the years have gone by, what started as a career break seems to be now unambiguously retirement.

I’m ambivalent on the Oxford Comma, but I hate the Grocer’s Apostrophe.

I try and share my perspective judiciously and pseudonymously online, most recently on a Mastodon server. I’ve also been trying out Pixelfed (an open-source kind of IG), but my intention to post more pictures hasn’t really borne fruit yet. I never really seem to remember to do so, despite having my phone on me at all times.
