No Plan B?
Been thinking about folks who succeeded despite not having a Plan B, who credit their success to not having a Plan B to fall back on. Inspiring stories, but are they realistic? How many folks did the same but crashed and burned? How many folks should have ejected before they lost it all and didn’t? For every person who made it, I have to think there are many more who didn’t. Persistence is necessary, but it’s not sufficient.
People often credit how they did something as the reason why it was successful, but it’s also dumb luck with respect to timing and being in the right place at the right time. You can’t plan that, you can only try to position yourself to take advantage of it should it happen.
